Siliguri, 31st August: Acting on a tip-off, the Bhaktinagar police arrested a man with a large quantity of drugs. The arrested accused has been identified as Pintu Prasad (19) of Bihar. He used to stay in a rented house in the Champasari area of Siliguri.
According to police sources, Pintu Prasad was arrested along with a large quantity of drugs during a raid in the Indira Gandhi Maidan area. A case was filed against him under the NDPS Act and he was produced in Jalpaiguri court today.
