Siliguri, 06th July: The city’s Bhakti Nagar police cracked a burglary case in Siliguri within 24 hours of its occurrence and nabbed the thief. The accused have been identified as Bishwajit Roy.
Reportedly on July 04, a factory in Jyoti Nagar was burgled. The factory owner Neelam Sharma filed a complaint at Bhakti Nagar Police Station the following day. Acting promptly on a tip-off, the police traced the thief and recovered the stolen cash from him.
Later the recovered amount was handed over to factory owner Neelam Sharma by IC Amresh Singh of Bhakti Nagar police station. The accused was presented in the Jalpaiguri court today.
