Siliguri, 03rd March: The Bhakti Nagar police arrested a person for selling liquor without any valid documents. The arrested has been identified as Uttam Kumar of the Pramod Nagar area.
According to police sources, Uttam Kumar was in the illegal liquor business for a long time. The police of Bhakti Nagar police station, acting on a tip-off, conducted a campaign last night and arrested the accused. During the operation, a huge quantity of country-made liquor was recovered by the police. Today the accused was produced in Jalpaiguri court.
