Siliguri, 07th February: The 37th annual general conference of a nationalized bank is likely to be organized on Sunday.
During a press conference at the Siliguri Journalists Club on Saturday, Soumya Dutta, general secretary of the Bank Officers’ Federation, expressed outrage over the central government’s decision to privatize banks. He stated that if the banks are privatized, many will lose their jobs.
He further said that they might take to the streets in this regard and urged all to support him.
