Siliguri, 01st August: Bangiya Hindu Mahamancha submitted a memorandum at Bhakti Nagar Police Station against several pubs and bars in the area under Bhakti Nagar Police Station, alleging unethical activities.
The organisation claimed that some pubs and bars have been involved in alleged unethical activities for a long time and expressed concern over the issue. They demanded immediate action from the authorities.
The organisation also raised concerns over a recent incident where a photograph taken during a private event at a pub, featuring a state minister, was displayed on a large screen. They alleged that the pub authorities projected themselves as being close to the minister and termed the incident as misuse of the photograph.
Bangiya Hindu Mahamancha demanded an impartial investigation into the allegations and urged authorities to take necessary action.
