Siliguri, 03rd June: The Siliguri Metropolitan Police organized the 43rd edition of the ‘Utsarg’ Blood Donation Camp, drawing participation from the general public. Today, the camp took place at the City Center Outpost of Matigara, with individuals willingly donating blood to support the noble cause facilitated by the Bagdogra Traffic Guard. Approximately 60 units of blood were successfully collected during the event.
The blood donation camp witnessed the presence of Siliguri Metropolitan Police Commissioner Akhilesh Kumar Chaturvedi, DCP Traffic Abhishek Gupta, ACP Traffic West Ashish Subba, ADCP Purnima Sherpa, Bagdogra Traffic Guard OC S. S. Negi, and other policemen.
