Rajganj, 03rd June: On Baba Loknath’s Tirodhan Divas, various temple committees of Rajganj block performed Puja following government guidelines amid the COVID pandemic.
Asim Majumder, an official at the Akarigach Loknath Mandir in Rajganj, said that puja is performed with great pomp every year. Religious ceremonies and prasad distribution is distributed throughout the day. Thousands of people used to gather and fairs were held in the temple premises. However, like the previous year, due to the lockdown, no such ceremonies were held this year too.
“Hopefully next year we will be able to offer puja through all kinds of rituals,” he added.
