Awareness rally and camp organised in Rajganj to mark International Day Against Drug Abuse

Rajganj, 26th June: Bhorer Alo Police Station organised an awareness rally and camp involving school students in Rajganj on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse.

On Friday, students of Ambari Chinta Mohan High School took part in an awareness rally across the Ambari area. Following the rally, an awareness camp was organised at the school.

During the programme, Officer-in-Charge of Bhorer Alo Police Station, Sudip Dutta, along with teachers of the school, educated students about the harmful effects of drug abuse, its negative impact on society and families, and the importance of staying away from addiction. Other police personnel from the police station were also present.

According to police sources, Bhorer Alo Police Station has been conducting a series of anti-drug awareness programmes over the past few days in areas including Balaram, Sahudangi, Adarshapally, and Krishnanagar Colony. Anti-drug awareness posters have also been put up at various road intersections.

Police said such awareness campaigns will continue in the future to promote a drug-free society and spread public awareness.
