Siliguri, 14th July: A campaign to create awareness against the use of single-use plastics was launched by Ward No. 35 committee of Siliguri Municipal Corporation in the NJP market area, on Thursday. Ward Councilor Sampa Nandi, former councilor Jaideep Nandi, along with others were present during this.
In this regard, Sampa Nandi stated that the citizens have been urged to stop using plastic. If the use of plastic is not stopped in the coming days, then the violators can be fined.
