Siliguri, 16th June: Ashok Bhattacharya, former Mayor of the city and presiding Chairman of the Board of Administrators at SMC, has once again fallen ill and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Matigara.
It is to recall, Bhattacharya suffered fever and cold, a few days ago and was resting at home on the doctor’s advice. However, after an increase in his chest infection, he was admitted to a private hospital in Matigara today.
However, the doctors informed that he is currently in a stable condition.
