Siliguri, 25th January: The Valmiki Vidyapith High School in Siliguri organized the annual sports competition on Thursday. During this, the students presented a special drill incorporating sports and athletics.
According to reports, the event was inaugurated by the school headmaster Anup Das with the lighting of the torch. Following this, national players Seema Das and Kanika Vaidya were honoured by the school on this day. The event witnessed the active participation of 200 students in several categories. Significantly, the winners were awarded by the guests present at the program.
In attendance were a former teacher of the school Golap Roy, Councillor of Ward No. 34 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation along with former student Biman Topadar and other teachers of the school.
