Siliguri, 07th April: Siliguri Mayor, on Thursday, announced that a number of prominent roads under the Siliguri Municipal Corporation will be repaired using advanced technology. Apart from this, dilapidated and weak bridges will also be rebuilt.
Mayor Goutam Deb visited Ward No. 22 along with the ward’s councillor, Dipta Karmakar, to take stock of the construction work of Arabinda Pally Main Road which is being built at a cost of Rs 43 lakh. During his visit, the Mayor also inspected the bridge connecting Ward No. 22 and 36. He said that the bridge would also be repaired soon and that the newly constructed mastic road would also be inaugurated in the next 15 days.
