Siliguri, 20th April: Amid the surge of COVID-19 cases, the Hardware Merchants’ Association and Motor Parts Dealers Association decided to close all hardware shops at Siliguri’s Sevoke Road post 6 pm.
Surajit Pal, secretary of the North Bengal Industry Association and convener of Eastern ABC Chamber of Commerce and Industries, said that it has been decided that from now on, shops will remain open from 10 am to 6 pm. Shops may be closed for the next few weeks if necessary.
