Alipurduar, 26th October: Alipurduar is all set to host the Durga Puja Carnival on Thursday. In this regard, a grand stage has been erected with sitting arrangements on the Buxa Feeder Road adjacent to the Alipurduar Municipality.
According to reports, Alipurduar SDO Biplab Sarkar has already assessed the site of the event as the carnival is scheduled to commence in the evening. The SDO revealed that about 20 magnificent idols of Alipurduar were selected to be displayed at the procession. The event will be graced by several guests including the city dwellers. Additionally, various cultural programs will be organized as part of the carnival.
