After two months of Bolero theft, two crooks were arrested from Phasidewa area

Siliguri, 05th August: While solving the case of the Bolero robbery the Phasidewa police arrested two burglars related to the theft. The alleged accused have been identified as Shekhar Saha and MD Bilal. The accused are said to be a resident of Phasidewa.


The notorious duo stole the Bolero from the area at night. The following day, a complaint was lodged in this regard at the Phasidewa police station. While probing the case, the police learned that Shekhar and Bilal had stolen the Bolero and sold it in the Dooars area. After which, the police were about to nab the two thieves. The two men fled and were off the radar. The police finally traced the mioscreants and arrested them last night after weeks of searching.

Last Thursday night, on the basis of a tip-off, the police arrested the duo from the Phasidewa area. Today the police produced both the accused in the Siliguri court, where the court has directed to keep them on remand for five days. The police are probing the case.
