Phansidewa, 16th May: Sensation prevailed in the West Sadarghat area of Bidhan Nagar, Phansidewa, after the recovery of a woman’s dead body. The deceased has been identified as Lakshmi Tiwari, wife of Lakshman Tiwari.
According to local residents, they heard the couple fight on Sunday afternoon and on that very night, they saw smoke coming out of the duo’s house. After extinguishing the fire, the burnt body of Lakshmi was recovered from the house.
Upon receiving the information, the Bidhannagar police reached the spot and recovered the body of the deceased, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. Furthermore, Lakshman Tiwari has been taken into custody. The police are probing the entire incident.
