Naxalbari, 27th January: A person lost his life and another was injured in a road accident on Asian Highway-02 near a petrol pump under Naxalbari police station.
Reportedly, a truck and a Scorpio car collided near the petrol pump in Naxalbari on Tuesday night. As a result, one person including the driver was severely injured. They were rescued and rushed to the Naxalbari Hospital, where the doctors declared the driver dead.
According to police sources, the deceased was a resident of Bihar. Police have recovered the body and sent it for an autopsy. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
