Islampur, 26th November: A person lost his life after being hit by a bus at Dhantala under Islampur police station. Another person was also injured in the incident. The deceased has been identified as Dr. Akhtar Alam, a resident of Bihar.
Reportedly, the incident occurred when a bus lost control while crossing the national highway on Wednesday night. After the incident, both the injured were rescued and rushed to the hospital, where the doctors declared Dr. Akhtar Alam dead. The other injured individual is currently undergoing treatment at the Islampur hospital.
The Police sent the body for an autopsy and have started an investigation into the incident.
