Siliguri, 16th August: The Siliguri branch of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest at Hashmi Chowk (Venus More) in Siliguri demanding justice for the ragging-related death of a student in Jadavpur University.
On this day, the members of ABVP demonstrated by covering their mouths with a black sash urging the authorities to instigate a detailed investigation into the incident and strict punishment for the guilty.
