8-point memorandum issued to Phansidewa BMOH on behalf of Asha workers

Phansidewa, 17th December: A 8-point memorandum was handed over to Phansidewa BMOH Arunava Das on behalf of the West Bengal Asha Karmi Union, on Friday.


It has been learned that the Asha workers staged a rally from Phansidewa BDO office to Grameen Hospital. Meanwhile, they blocked the road for half an hour at Phansidewa Thana more. They then handed over the memorandum to the BMOH, who promised to settle the arrears within the next three weeks.


On behalf of the Asha workers’ union, Joy Lodh said, “BMOH has promised to settle the arrears of Asha workers. If the money is not paid within the next two weeks, we will stage larger demonstrations.”

BMOH Arunava Das said that all the demands of Asha workers will be informed to the higher authorities.
