Kharibari, 15th January: Seven people were injured in a road accident near Khoribari-Ghoshpukur road. A vehicle lugging passengers from Kharibari to Ghoshpukur collided head-on with a four-wheeler coming from the opposite direction.
Six people from the passenger vehicle and one from the four-wheeler were severely injured. The injured were taken to the nearby Kharibari hospital, after which they were transferred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH), where the state of the injured is said to be critical.
