Rajganj, 21st May: A 7-foot-long python was rescued in Rajganj on Wednesday morning, causing a stir among local residents. The large snake was spotted in the School Para area under the Sukhani Gram Panchayat of the Rajganj block.
According to sources, the python was found inside the bushes by locals, who immediately informed an environmentalist organization. Responding swiftly, workers from the organization arrived at the scene and successfully rescued the reptile.
The rescued python will reportedly be handed over to the forest department by the organization.
