Siliguri, 28th December: On Thursday afternoon, the 5th International Rajbanshi Film Festival commenced at Dina Bandhu Mancha in Siliguri, in an effort to preserve the Rajbanshi films.
According to reports, the event will held for two days and the festival will be organized in Gossaipur the following day. Significantly, over 15 films of the community will be screened during the two-day festival.
The festival’s organizing committee, the Social and Cultural Development Organisation of Siliguri is making efforts to highlight the culture of the Rajbanshi Community through the festival. The Committee revealed that the festival is held every year to carry forward the legacy of Rajbanshi films.
