Siliguri, 08th March: Before the Siliguri municipal corporation elections, 500 people left Trinamool Congress(TMC) and Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party( BJP).
Reportedly, the District president Prabin Agarwal handed over the party flag to the newcomers during an event held at the party office in Siliguri Hashmi Chowk.
