Cooch Behar, 25th March: Five shops were burnt to ashes in a catastrophic fire in Cooch Behar Baburhat Bazar, last night. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
As per the report, the fire broke out around 1 am last night. The locals immediately reported the incident to the fire brigade. Upon receiving the news, 2 fire engines reached the spot and extinguished the fire. However, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
