Kharibari, 05th May: Jawans of the Kadomani Jote D Company of the 41st Battalion of the SSB based on a tip-off launched an operation and seized illegally smuggled cattle along the Indo-Nepal border. In regard to this, a youth has been arrested.
According to SSB, the said company was informed that cattle were being brought illegally from Nepal. Regarding this, Naka patrolling was conducted on the Indo-Nepal border by the jawans. During the patrolling, a youth was spotted illegally fetching cattle from Nepal. Following this, jawans stopped the illegal activity.
Reportedly, the said youth failed to show valid documents, due to which he was arrested along with 5 cattle. After taking necessary action by the SSB, the seized cattle and the arrested youth were handed over to the Kharibari police station.
