Siliguri, 23rd March: A youth who was absconding after killing his mother, has been arrested by Pradhan Nagar police. The police registered a murder case against 26-year-old Bikki Oraon and presented him in Siliguri court today.
As per the report, Bikki often used to thrash his mother Somani Oraon under the influence of alcohol. On March 21, once again during such an episode, he hit his mother’s head with an iron rod, killing her on the spot.
After the incident, the family members of the deceased lodged a written complaint at Pradhan Nagar police station. The police launched an investigation soon after and arrested the accused son. The police have started a thorough investigation into this murder.
