Siliguri, 08th July: A 26-year-old girl was drugged and gang-raped by three men in a lodge located at Eastern Bypass under Bhakti Nagar police station area. Police have arrested one accused while the other two are still at large. The arrested accused has been identified as MD Bablu.
According to the information, three men came to the lodge with the girl on Thursday night. As per the allegation, the men drugged the girl and took her to the hotel room. All three gang-raped the girl one by one and left her in the lodge after they were done.
After gaining consciousness, the victim girl lodged a written complaint at Ashighar Out Post. Acting promptly, the police swung into action and arrested one of the three accused involved in the incident. Furthermore, a search for the two accused has been started. The victim girl was sent for medical examination.
