Rajganj, 24th September: Sensation prevailed after the lifeless body of a woman was recovered from the Jugunidanga area of Panikauri gram panchayat in Rajganj block, on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Tanima Roy (18). Rajganj police are investigating the incident at the magistrate level.
According to family sources, Rajesh Roy, son of Joy Chandra Roy from Jugunidanga in Panikauri Gram Panchayat, married his lover Tanima Roy from Baniapara, four months ago.
Pradeep Roy, the father of the deceased, accused the in-laws of killing Tanima and portraying it as a case of suicide.
Police have already detained three members of the in-laws’ family. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
