Malbazar, 14th April: Sensation prevailed after a 15-foot long poisonous snake was recovered from the premises of Malbazar Engo Tea Garden.
As per the report, the tea garden workers sighted the snake lying inside a sewer and informed the Khuniya Wild Life Squad.
The forest officials reached the spot and rescued the animal after 35 minutes of effort. After initial treatment, the snake was later released into the Khuniya forest.
Meanwhile, a crowd of people gathered to see the snake amid the lockdown.
