Naxalbari, 21st March: In Naxalbari, 145 families left CPIM and joined Trinamool Congress in Naxalbari.
A joining programme was held at Dhakna Colony under the initiative of Naxalbari’s Maniram Trinamool Congress. Darjeeling District TMC President Papiya Ghosh, District Kisan Khetmajur President Amar Sinha, Naxalbari Block 2 President Prithvish Roy, Yuva President Arun Ghosh, Bhanu Barman, and others were present at the programme.
District TMC President Papiya Ghosh asserted that she is one hundred percent optimistic about winning the sub-divisional council elections and said that this joining will give strength to the party to win the election.
