Jalpaiguri, 19th July: Sensation prevailed after a 12-foot long Indian Rock python was recovered from the Moraghat tea garden area.
According to sources, the labourers in the garden noticed the python and immediately informed the Binnaguri Wildlife Squad. The forest workers reached the spot shortly after and rescued the snake. The python was later released into the Moraghat forest.
