Siliguri, 20th June: Unable to bear the news of untimely death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, a 10-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide in Siliguri.
The incident occurred in the Tumal Para area near Jhankar More, on Friday evening. The deceased was a Class VI student of a private school.
According to the family, the boy was a huge fan of Sushant Singh Rajput and often used to watch the Bollywood actor’s news on social sites through his mother’s Facebook account.
The minor was severely upset following the suicide of Sushant Singh. Sadly, on Friday evening, the boy’s lifeless body was found hanging from a noose in his house.
Neighbor Subodh Baraili said that although the 10-year-old admired Sushant Singh Rajput, however, no one had ever imagined that the boy would take such a drastic step after the death of his beloved actor.
Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. Police will conduct further investigation into different angles of the incident.
