Siliguri, 13th January: 10 members from different political parties joined the Trinamool Congress in Ward No. 16, on Thursday.
Darjeeling District Yuva TMC President Kuntal Roy handed over the party flags to the new members and welcomed them.
Ward No. 16 Yuva TMC President Subhajit Das, Town 2 Trinamool Yuva Congress President Raju Das, and other activists of the party were present at the programme.
In this regard, Kuntal Roy said that this will help Trinamool Candidate Sanjeev Chakraborty for the upcoming SMC election on January 22. He is hopeful that TMC will win in this ward by a huge margin.
