Dhupguri, 23rd January: A 10-foot-long python was rescued from the Garialtari area of Gadhearkuthi Gram Panchayat under Dhupguri block.
As per the report, the locals spotted the said python in the Kachu Bagan this morning. As news of the incident spread, people started gathering to see the reptile. Soon the forest workers reached the spot and rescued the python.
According to the forest department, the python will be released into the Gadhearkuthi beat forest area.
