Kharibari, 04th May: A distressing incident came to light where the lifeless body of a youth has been found hanging from a noose in Warish Jote of Kharibari. The deceased has been identified as Kishore Kumar Roy (24).
As per reports, the locals spotted the body hanging from a tree while working in the field on Saturday morning. Promptly, the matter was reported to the police. Upon receiving the news, Kharibari police arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and sent it North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination.
Police sources revealed that the youth had been in depression for several days. Meanwhile, the officials are engaged in a detailed investigation of the matter.
