Siliguri, 10th June: A youth was injured in a collision between a dumper and a scooter at Eastern Bypass of Siliguri. The injured has been identified as Gaurav Saha a resident of Arvind pally.
According to local sources, the scooter lost control and hit a cycle in Loknath market area near Ashighar. The scooter driver fell on the road and was then hit by a dumper coming from behind. After the incident, Gaurav Saha was rescued and carried to Siliguri District Hospital. The police of the Ashighar Outpost took the damaged scooter and dumper in their possession.
