Rajganj, 26th December: A youth from Fulbari lost his life in a road accident while returning from a picnic. The deceased has been identified as Mona Barman (21), a resident of Fulbari Paschim Dhantala. The incident has created a stir in the entire area.
According to the deceased’s family sources, Mona went to Gorubathan in a small four-wheeler passenger car along with his three friends on Friday. On their way back home in the evening, the car met with a road accident in the Gorubathan police station area. The locals rescued the three and rushed them to the local hospital, where Mona succumbed to his injuries. The other two were released from the hospital as their injuries were not critical.
The body has been sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
