Naxalbari, 29th October: A youth has been arrested for smuggling cattle near the Indo-Nepal border in Naxalbari. The accused has been identified as Bunty Hembram, a resident of Naxalbari.
Reportedly, during the patrolling on the border late Friday night, the soldiers of the 08th Battalion of SSB took the said youth into custody along with 6 cattle and two pickup vans.
Following this, the jawans handed over the accused to the Naxalbari police. Today the accused was produced in the Siliguri Court. Police are probing the whole matter.
