Naxalbari, 19th December: A youth accused of sexual assault of a minor was arrested in Naxalbari. The arrested accused has been identified as Ajit Oraon.
According to reports, on Monday, the minor’s parents had gone out for work. During this, the youth took advantage of the situation, entered the minor’s residence, and allegedly committed the heinous act.
Later, as the minor’s father and mother returned home from work, they were informed about the entire incident. Subsequently, the family members filed a complaint against the accused youth at the Naxalbari police station.
Based on the complaint, the police arrested Ajit Oraon. On Tuesday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri court. Currently, the police are engaged in a detailed investigation of the entire incident.
