Bagdogra, 14th June: The Army organized a blood donation camp on Wednesday in Bagdogra to commemorate World Blood Donor Day. The camp was conducted as part of the collaborative efforts between 158 Base Hospital Bengdubi and Mamta Nagar Social Welfare Committee. Army Commandant Brigadier Rajesh Gangavatiker, Matigara-Naxalbari’s BJP MLA Anandamoy Barman, and other dignitaries graced the occasion with their presence.
According to reports, the camp saw active participation from both army personnel and general public. A total of 50 units of blood were successfully collected during the event. The collected blood will be transported to Bengdubi Army Hospital for further use.
