Fulbari, 11th July: A homemaker along with her 8-year-old son has gone missing from the Gathmabari area under Fulbari II Gram Panchayat. Even after 11 days, the woman and her child remain untraced, leaving the family in distress.
According to family sources, Mamata Saha Roy left home on the evening of July 1, saying she was going to Fulbari market. Her 8-year-old son Raj Saha was accompanying her. Her husband, Pintu Saha, who works as a driver, had gone out for work as usual that day.
When Pintu returned home at night, he found that his wife and son had not returned. After searching at the homes of relatives and acquaintances without success, he lodged a missing person complaint at the New Jalpaiguri Police Station.
Police have started an investigation into the matter. Pintu Saha said that the couple had married nearly 10 years ago after being in a relationship and expressed concern over the sudden disappearance of his wife and son.
