Rajganj, 20th March: The body of a woman was found hanging from a noose in the Juganidanga area of Panikauri gram panchayat in Rajganj. The deceased has been identified as Pinki Roy.
It has been learned that Pinki was chopping vegetables this morning. At that time her husband Basudev Roy went out with his son. After a while, he came back and found his wife hanging from a noose. He was later rescued and taken to Rajganj Rural Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Belakoba outpost police later reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
