Naxalbari, 02nd October: Naxalbari police station personnel arrested a woman drug peddler, identified as Geeta Roy(31), with brown sugar.
According to the information, acting on a tip-off, the police detained the woman near Naxalbari Railgate area upon suspicion. On searching, 53 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the said woman.
She was immediately arrested and the Naxalbari Police registered a case against the woman under NDPS Act. Roy will be presented in Siliguri court today.
