Woman dies after falling from rooftop in Siliguri

Siliguri, 25th April: A woman died after falling from the rooftop of her house in Siliguri. The deceased has been identified as Popi Saha. The tragic incident took place in the Debashish Colony area under Ward No. 24.

According to family sources, members were present inside the house at the time of the incident when they suddenly heard a loud noise. On rushing outside, they found that she had fallen from the third-floor rooftop.

She was immediately rescued in a critical condition and rushed to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Police from Siliguri police station have started an investigation to ascertain how the incident occurred.
