Naxalbari, 29th October: A woman was arrested with a large quantity of illegal liquor in Naxalbari. The arrested accused has been identified as Bijli Tirkey.
Naxalbari police arrested the woman during a raid in the Raipara area late Thursday night. 26 bottles of liquor with no valid documents were recovered from her possession. She was sent to Siliguri court on Friday.
According to police sources, such operations will continue in the coming days as well.
