Madarihat, 20th November: Panic gripped the Madarihat area after a wild elephant invaded the locality and damaged the crops.
As per reports, on Monday, an elephant from the Jaldapara forest entered the Meghnad Saha Nagar of Madarihat and destroyed the crops of several residents of the area. Following a rampant commotion, the elephant reportedly returned back to the forest.
