Alipurduar, 31st July: Several families were affected after three wild elephants rampaged at Saotal Line of Dalgaon Tea Garden in Falakata Block on Friday late night.
According to local sources, 3 wild elephants entered the Saotal line that night and broke the walls of Daniel Hazda’s house. Several other house fences and shops were damaged. After about an hour, the elephants went back to the forest.
