Siliguri, 08th April: After holding a meeting with the Merchant Association, the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb stated that the wholesale food distribution will remain operational across the entire North Bengal amid the ongoing lockdown period. Following the government guidelines, the association will likely carry out the process of loading and unloading.
The Minister also informed that as per the Chief Minister’s directive, the price of goods in the market will be limited to a certain price. Deb further stated that he will be frequently visiting the distribution market to see whether the citizens are maintaining social distance while shopping.
