West Bengal records 2nd COVID-19 death

Siliguri, 30th March: A woman infected with COVID-19 died at North Bengal Medical College-Hospital in the wee hours of Monday, taking the death toll in West Bengal to 2.


As per the report, the patient was a resident of the Kalimpong district who had a travel history to Chennai for her daughter’s treatment.

After the woman showed some symptoms of the coronavirus, she was admitted to NBMCH and was kept in the isolation ward. She was then tested positive on March 28. The total number of positive cases in West Bengal has escalated to 22.
